Mystery Bridge

Traveling north on Rt. 7 through the s curves before Clarkson road on the right side tucked away in the woods lies a neat little stone bridge.
Almost impossible to see in the middle of summer it reveals itself by fall and is very visable in winter.
I have seen this bridge and tunnel for years but never really stopped to check it out. A small stream runs down the hill under the bridge.
I do not know when it was built or what road it serviced but I am glad I stopped. It is quite a work of craftmanship.
The arched stone tunnel under the bridge is awesome. It is amazing how big these stones are when you are standing under them. The bottom views are looking through the tunnel and what is left of the road on top.
